I received a pair of these for xmas and I have been enjoying them since. They have a good sound to them and I have had no problems with them so far. I'm addicted to very low-end bass, in dubstep, house, etc., and the only headphones that I liked were high end brands that I could not afford. Sennheiser has never let me down and continues to surpass my expectations. These headphones have the bass I am looking for, but I can't say much for the high end. I recommend these for just listening to music or just amateur recording.

I have owned these headphones for a while. I am going to guess about a year. I did a few mixes with them just to test them out and see what they put out. I wasn't pleased. My mixes had too much bass, not enough highs, and not enough mids. I wouldn't recommend these for mixing but I guess they are fine for simply listening to music... I guess..

I bought these because they were in my $$ limit and the reputation of Sennheiser. I use them with an ipod quality of music, not mixing or recording. I am pleased with them. They sound good and they block out ambient noise. This is mainly due to the snug fit. I was concerned about a tight fit, as I wear glasses. I have used them up to an hour without them causing problems with my glasses.
I would recommend them.
