I've heard many headphones but not these yet. I got them to try a different set and compare to the rest I have. These so far take the cake. These are amazing at how clear the sound is, I can pick up all the frequencies I need to hear with these. I use them while recording as reference while mixing and for tracking. They pick up the bass surprisingly well for sennheiser and for headphones in general and the mids and highs are still on top without losing any clarity of any of the frequencies. I give my recommendation to the rest, pick these up for your next pair of headphones.
I recently bought the HD 215 headphones abot a week ago and the sound quality is great and so is the isolation is also great. They have more accurate bass than my old sony MDR V150 headphones. The Bass was not what I had hoped for but satisfying enough. My girl friend has the HD 485 which has better Bass but you can heatr them across the room cause of the open back design. they are great headphones if you want really hear your music don't go cheap you get what you pay for.
I've had these for almost a week now and I've been wearing them every chance I can get. They are definitely the best headphones have ever owned and probably the best I have ever used. They are very durable and they block out a lot of outside noise.
Recieved a set of these for Christmas to replace my old iPod style earbuds. So far id say these things are probably the best you can buy for the price. They have a great clear sound, even for tracks recorded on a low bit-rate. Dont be fooled by the price, these things really are a sweet set of headphones.
