Why settle for standard earbuds when you can step up to the rich, full-range sound found in Shure E2c Earphones? Their sound isolating sleeves block 2 to 7 times more noise than noise canceling headphones with no hiss added and no batteries required, so you'll hear every detail, no matter where you are. Originally developed for professional musicians, the Shure E2c Sound Isolating Earphones combine Dynamic MicroDriver speaker technology with a sound isolating design to deliver rich, full-range sound while blocking outside noise -- ideal for enhancing your listening experience with portable MP3, DVD, and CD players, notebook computers and any other listening device that has a 3.5 mm (1/8") stereo output.
Sound Isolating Technology
The E2c's in-ear design works like an earplug to block background noise naturally. This enables you to listen comfortably at lower volumes -- even in loud environments. And unlike bulky headphones utilizing active noise cancellation technology, no artifacts are introduced into your listening experience. Sound isolating earphones are also much smaller and don't require batteries.
The E2c's speakers are constructed with studio-grade components, producing outstanding audio clarity that allows you to hear your music like never before.
Personal Fit Kit
Because every ear is different, E2c Earphones come with three pairs (small, medium, large) of disposable Foam Sleeves, and three pairs (small, medium, large) of Flex Sleeves to ensure the ideal personalized fit.
Secure In Ear Design
The soft, flexible sleeves in the Fit Kit gently contour the inside of the ear for a comfortable, secure fit so that the earphones don't fall out while you're exercising.
Low-Profile Earphone Cables
The E2c's cables pass behind the ear—out of sight and out of the way—to provide a more comfortable, discreet fit.
Weighing only 1 oz. (30g), the E2c is lightweight and comfortable enough for any portable listening application -- packing a big punch in such a compact package.
Earphones Carrying Case
The E2c comes with a stylish, compact carrying case. The cable spool inside provides a convenient, tangle-free way to store your earphones.
Two-Year Limited Warranty
Every E2c purchased comes with a two-year limited warranty on materials and workmanship.

I am now buying my second set, my first pair died after 6 years of very heavy, everyday use. As a matter of fact, they would still be working if it weren't for my amplifier (which shorted them out). They are far and away the best headphones for the money - I tried a bose set that cost 3 times the price and these ones are way better, in both sound quality and fitment/comfort. Even with a blown voice coil in the left side, I still use them everyday.I use them for everything - monitors while drumming, listening to my walkman while mowing the yard, studying in between classes, everything. What makes them so spectacular is that the cable goes up over the ear, so they stay out of the way and you don't have to worry about them falling out.
I decided to buy the E2s after my dad bought a pair and loved them. After I bought mine, I spent a few minutes trying to find the sleeves that provided the proper fit and once I did, I was blown away. These ear buds sound nothing like the small headphones they are; the sound was full with bright (but not too bright) highs, smooth mids, and punchy lows. It may sound clich but I was hearing parts of my music I've never heard before. Once I got the EQ on my iPod set up correctly, it was a true listening experience. Acoustic pieces sound like you are in the same room as the artist that's playing. The sound was amazing, but the part that really seals the deal is the way that the headphones block out external noise. This allows me to hear the nuances of the music, even in a noisy environment such as an airplane or a bus. I've seen some people saying these headphones lack bass but this can be avoided with two things: make sure that you chose the right earpieces to make a complete seal in your ear, and make sure that the EQ on your MP3 player isn't set to some bass-boosting preset for your small earphones as this makes the bass washed out.I couldn't reccomend these headphones more highly, they're my favorite earphones I've ever owned. It is still a lot of money for headphones, but the sound you get is well worth it.
I have had these for about two years now. I have used them for everything from litening to my Ipod as I run to using them as monitors in a recording studio. Two years after I bought them they are still just as good as the day that I bought them. If you buy these take the time to find the right fit because it will effect the sound quality and the comfort. Once you get the set up right you will enjoy one of the best sounding headphones I've ever heard. These have great bass responce. All in all this is a great product. They are well worth the money. Stop buying ear buds every 2 months and buy these.
I got these as a substitute for the Shure E2's. I really enjoy them! Mine came with 3 different kinds of ear sleeves. They had the clear hard plastic, black soft plastic, and the orange foam. Each different sleeve also comes with three different sizes so you can find that good fit. They don't fall out of my ears either. You have to make sure the ear piece is all the way in your ear canal to really hear the dynamic drivers that these posess.
