OVERVIEW

Affordable in ear monitors with excellent sound quality.

PSM 200 Monitors are the personal monitor price breakthrough performers have been waiting for and a practical alternative to floor wedges for performers who want to start out In Ear and stay there. Featuring smart, versatile components that grow with you as your needs change, PSM 200 is the personal monitoring breakthrough for entry-level performers. In ear is now in reach.

PSM 200 Wireless Personal Monitoring System Includes the Shure P2R Hybrid Bodypack Receiver and the Shure P2T Wireless TransMixer. Package includes the Shure SE215 Earphones.

P2R Hybrid Bodypack Receiver
The P2R Hybrid Bodypack Receiver is the world's first bodypack receiver to function as a wired receiver, a wireless receiver, or both at the same time. This and other unique features, along with excellent sound quality, make the P2R an exceptional value.

P2T Wireless TransMixer
The P2T Wireless TransMixer is another breakthrough design for personal monitoring. It allows the user to connect two line-level or mic-level inputs directly into the transmitter. The two signals can then be mixed independently. You can connect microphones or instruments directly to the inputs or use line outputs from a mixing console. In short, no matter what the output device, you can probably plug it into the TransMixer.

SE215 Earphones
Featuring a Dynamic MicroDriver, the SE215 delivers detailed sound with enhanced bass. A detachable cable with formable wire enables easy replacement and a secure, comfortable fit onstage or on-the-go. Sound Isolating sleeves in multiple sizes provide up to 37 dB of isolation and a customized fit. Evolved from personal monitor technology that's been road-tested by pro musicians, the SE215 offers detailed sound for personal listening or professional monitoring.

Comments about Shure PSM 200 Wireless Personal Monitoring System with SE215 Earphones:

The system worked well right out of the box. It was fairly easy to figure out the bells and whistles. (I'm an old rocker not a whizzer) And dang, I could actually hear myself; much better than with the stage monitors we'd been using. It's fairly rough on batteries, but you know when the receiver battery is getting low because suddenly it's not there. But it's an easy fix. I still have trouble making the earphones fit comfortably, but that might be an old dude thing. I'd rate the system as really great if the phones were stereo. If they were stereo I could get exactly the mix I need out of the mixer but being mono I'm limited. Otherwise a good system.

Comments about Shure PSM 200 Wireless Personal Monitoring System with SE215 Earphones:

I upgraded from a cheaper in ear system to this Shure, and could not be more pleased! In addition to having the claar sound I expected from Shure, I also eliminated background interference I was experiencing with my other monitor. The dual inputs mean I can adjust my levels with the band mix in an instant, without having to go fiddle with the monitor output from a sound board. Light and durable. Highly recommended.

Comments about Shure PSM 200 Wireless Personal Monitoring System with SE215 Earphones:

good value for the money. There is definitely a difference between these and higher end models, but not enough for me personally to dish out the extra dough. They do what you need, hear yourself and band. Wish this buzz wasn't so prevalent, but perhaps I can adapt that with different settings on the board.

Comments about Shure PSM 200 Wireless Personal Monitoring System with SE215 Earphones:

I have used the PSM 200 now for 2 years so I think it's time for a review. It is the perfect entry level IEM system! The unit is made of plastic but mine is still in one piece even after 2 years and over 400 shows. The belt clip is cheap so you have to be careful with that. The receiver uses 9v batteries and it will use A LOT OF THEM! Not to impressed with battery use! The signal strenght is good 99% of the time. Our monitor board sits right off stage so never had problems with that. There are only 8 channels to use on the receiver/ transmitter which can limit a larger band. Also, it is a MONO ONLY system so you cannot run a stereo mix! The hybrid body pack is cool. As a drummer I have used the other input for a click track and have at times ran my monitor feed directly to the body pack. As far as the included ear buds, they work ok if you can get them to stay in your ears. I use custom buds but that's my preference. Over all, it's the perfect IEM system for the entry level user! It's inexpensive and works great if taken care of. I would recommend it to the beginner!
