All you need to have a great sounding personal monitoring system.
The Shure PSM200 Wireless Personal Monitoring System with SE115-CL Earphones includes a P2T wireless transmixer, a P2R hybrid bodypack receiver and a set of SE115-CL earphones. This is all you need to have a great sounding personal monitoring system with the possibility of expanding the system with additional P2R bodypacks.
P2T wireless transmixer
The P2T TransMixer is breakthrough design for personal monitoring. It allows the user to connect two line-level or miclevel inputs directly into the transmitter. The two signals can then be mixed independently. You can connect microphones or instruments directly to the inputs or use line outputs from a mixing console. In short, no matter what the output device, you can probably plug it into the TransMixer.
The P2R hybrid bodypack receiver
This is the world's first bodypack receiver to function as a wired receiver, a wireless receiver, or both at the same time. This and other unique features, along with excellent sound quality, make the P2R an exceptional value.
SE115-CL sound isolating earphones
The compact SE115-CL is a perfect introduction to the stunning performance of Shure earphones. Second Generation Dynamic MicroDrivers deliver warm, detailed sound with resonant bass. This clear model has a 64-inch fixed cable making it ideal for stage use or other low-profile applications.

In play in two bands and in both cases the lead singer and I use this unit. When the on-stage mix is terrible (and it usually is); I can hear myself clearly. The isolation is excellent and I use the in-ears everywhere the room is loud. I end up using an outboard mixer since I sing, play guitar and play keys. I use a direct out from the harmony processor, a direct out from my JM250 amp and a direct out from the my sequencer (keyboard) and mix these with a line level feed or an ambient microphone. It is a lot of stuff to setup; but I can tell the sound man to forget about my monitor mix and that does save time and the unpredictability that comes along with playing various venues with different sound characteristics and monitor mixes. I think every working musician should have one of these units
If you are a singer, and on a budget, get this gear. No more: ringing ears, problems with floor wedges, drum cymbals destroying your ears (you front men know what i'm talkin bout!!).This will do two things for you no matter what you do in the band: allow you to hear the mix like you've never heard it before, hear your vocals/instrument like you've never heard it before and ISOLATE your ears so that you aren't overpowered by drums/guitar/screaming groupies, etc. I play guitar and keys as well. I don't need to use an on-stage amp (I use the PODxtlive) so this helps me cut down on stage noise and amplifier wars with the other guitar player, allowing him to hear himself better and keep his volume down. I don't need an amp for my keys, either, because I hear them perfectly in my ear mix. This will help you reduce stage volumes and feedback because you don't need a wedge anymore!!Your ears will thank you for this...this has been the best buy for my money overall.
