Comments about Shure SE535LTD Sound Isolating Earphones:
I love these In ear monitors! The sound is amazing. I had been searching for a great in ear monitor for a while now since I sold my se425's and the se215's, which both have great sound quality by the way.
I looked up so much info on these LTD model, and found so much positive reviews, and very little negative reviews. I was looking into getting the Westone model equivalent to these but I just love Shure's product quality. These are NOT super bass heavy when listening to music with no eq adjustments, it also obviously depends on what music you listen to. I'm not the kind that likes EXTREME bass. I love a balanced bass, where you can hear detail, and this earphone has that! It has a little bit more mids than I was used to, but I'm used to it now, and it has great treble.
Using them as in ear monitors changes how these sound, because you can adjust each instruments volume as you want. I use these with the Shure PSM200 Monitor System. As a bass player these are great because you can put as much bass into these as you need without any loss in sound quality! and its smooth and warm. I love that each driver does what its supposed to do, you can differentiate between instruments and vocals due to the crossover that splits the frequencies.
I wish these monitors came with the SHEAC64BK cable, instead of the 3, and single button cables, Or I wish it was an option to choose what cable you want. because I really have no use at all for the cable with 3 buttons, or the single button cable.
