I have used these speakers for indoor/outdoor rock worship events and they have proven worthy. With Yamaha 660 emx pwr mixer I run one speaker set HIGH EQ at 300 watts and split the other speaker LOW EQ 300 watts. I also plant them behind the band without the need for a monitor and have little to no feedback especially using Shure sm58's. Awesome setup awesome speakers great highs and lows.
I bought these to go with a brand new Behringer PMH1000 board. They produce great highs, and decent mid range, however the Bass was muddy at best and would not play the bass in "Apologize" by Timbaland/One Republic. It sounded quite out of phase. Tried some different speakers and it sounded fine at the same settings. So it looks like these were not the best purchase on my part. Would recommend something that cost a little more, because with these you truly are getting what you pay for.
These things rock. I use them for a band pa and they are clear and crisp, don't get muddy, and don't distort. They're not overly heavy and set up easily. They also have a handle on the back (not shown in the picture, but a nice suprise). Only thing to be aware of is that each cabinet has only one input. I had to make a y-cable because I'm splitting my PA between main and monitors, leaving only one output each. Otherwise, they are well worth the price and compare nicely to my friend's new Peaveys.
The highs are clear, and man can these puppies pump some bass!! I don't even use my subs, unless I'm in a really HUGE room!
