This setup was great for me. I was just beggining to do some hip hop dj /ing and I needed an affordable pair of tables. These guys got the job done and then did some more...I was very pleased with the turntables themselves. But I thought the mixer could use some work. If you buy this product for cutting and scratching (not advised) then immediatly buy new fader switches. The ones that the mixer comes with are made of rubber. If you do use these ones for crab scratches the rubber wil ware off and get everywhere. overall a dj lab 3 is a buy that is worth the money.
Hello all. I am a professional DJ from Las Vegas. So this is how I ended up on this product. I had to do a HUGE gig in Vegas and I was coming in from another gig in Florida. I had spent about $1500+ on professional DJ utilities. Unfortunatley, on the return trip to Vegas, the fragile turntables somehow broke because of the rough care of the luggage carriers. (NEVER travel with Delta with fragile materials) and so I was stuck a few nights before a huge gig and I stumbled upon these babies. Lemme tell you, after 24 years of DJing, these are the best quality for the price. The torque is up to par and could use a little work (There are ways to improve the torque). The mixer should be upgraded as well. Anyways I got a lot of respect after the gig and used these for many more gigs until I got my professional DJ equipment back.
I bought these from a friend of mine who bought it off of here, and the tables are nice. Nice amount of torque, and some good features. The mixer on the other hand could use some help though. I've used it at house parties and it gets me buy for mixing, but for scratching and cutting it doesnt quite do the job. Over all its a good package for a beginner, it was my first step and it helped.
