The 10" M.304 Mixer doesn't just look good; it sounds great too--thanks to Stanton's Superior Sound Technology. 3-channel mixer with Penny & Giles crossfader and FX loop is engineered with SST for ultralow noise and zero bleed. SST mixers offer several important advantages for DJs:
Why add noise to your mix when you can have the pure sound of SST? Try this with your current DJ mixer: make sure nothing is playing, then turn all the channel faders and master fader to their maximum positions. Then boost all the EQs to their highest settings. What you'll probably get is a bunch of hiss and noise. On an SST mixer, you won't hear a thing!
Another problem common to DJ mixers is channel bleed. For example, let's say you have a CD playing on channel 1 and nothing playing on channel 2. On many mixers, if you were to turn up channel 2's fader all the way you would hear the music bleeding over from channel 1. Again, with an SST mixer you would hear nothing but silence.

A very good mixer going 4 years with me now. Just wish one could have a contour on the penny and giles crossfader for scratching.
I own this model's predecessor. It looks like the only thing that changed is the appearance, I'm sure the performance is the same.This mixer is versatile enough for my DJ applications. I use it for 3 stereo inputs (2 CD's and 1 mp3 player). They all mesh well together.The physical shape makes it a little uncommon. I'm having trouble finding a good rack system to fit it.Overall it has reliably done its job. For the money, I would purchase it again.
