The crossfader gave out in 2 days. Absolutely horrific crunching scratchy sounds emmenate from the fader channel even when moved slightly and slowly. i would not wish this on an enemy.
You get static pops while you use the fader while you scratch. While this happens, you won't completely cut the record off with the fader with these static pops. Not good for scratching, but may be good for mixing.
please save yourself some trouble and don't buy this mixer. the crossfader will give out in one week or less. you will also have sound leaks, and crackling sounds from the crossfader when moved back and forth. crossfader life on this is really horrible.
A good first time mixer, wish there was more different type of inputs and outputs. The faders seem to work fine, so far (5 months)Ok deal for this price!
This mixer is good to start and get your feet wet but for pro's not a good way to go, it's good for mixing but for the battling aspect of dj-ing this mixer is not for you.It has a good price tag so go for it if you're beginner. If you're a pro you should already know
This was the first mixer I ever owned and I am not disappointed. It is a very basic mixer obviously created with the beginner 'mix' dj in mind. I've had this for about 4 months. Some of the fader knobs are starting to feel loose and will probably eventually come off. Other than that, it is an average mixer. Nothing too good about it, but nothing bad. It doesn't have all the extra goodies and effects of other mixers, but that's not what it was made for. You get what you pay for in this instance.
I bought this mixer just to get some faders to work tacks on my pioneer cdj800, and while it has few features, is has been highly reliable for 8 months thus far. Faders have held up, even in high smoke enviorments left uncovered to collect dust, sounds as clear as the day I bought it. Id say it serves its purpose.
