My major concern was the slipmat, it doesn't slip that well. But I will get some better ones soon. I use my older record players plastic non slip mat for general listening and wow the difference it makes. The needle is one of the lower end Stanton models but it doesnt skip. Setup was quick and the manuals are very well formatted and user friendly. You do not need a degree in computer sciences to read it.
The AC adapter on the back though... If you plan on running this in a battle set up. TT spun counterclockwise and to the right of a mixer, the ac cable will be pressed against if you do not leave enough room in between the mixer and the table. I even use a Stanton mixer the M212 that looks the same as the table. I had thought they would be more compatible but I do like my mixer right close to the table. If you leave about an inch you have plenty of room.
And well I dont want to go with NuMark they look like UFO's. I know this kind of looks like an iPod but I like the black finish alot.

Overall this product is a great bang for your buck. I've been using my tables for about two months now in conjunction with Traktor Scratch Pro to do both playthrough & timecode vinyls and they've been nothing short of outstanding.
The only reason I didn't give this a 10 is because it doesn't have anit-skate settings, not that I've been having a problem with that anyway.

This is a great turntable for everything...No problems with it, except it doesn't have a reverse option like I've seen with some turntables.
