Comments about Steinberg Cubase 7:
First off I own most of the top daws, Logic 9, Ableton 9, Pro Tools 10, Fl Studio 11, Reaper, Studio One 2, Cakewalk Sonar X2, Reasons 6.5, and now Cubase 7, so I am writing this review based on my experience. I know music can be made with any of the daws, but many lack certain tools that others may have and vice-versa. Even with the release of Logic X and the few extra features they have added it still lacks many of the tools that Cubase 7 has. I am not gonna list all the features you can do a side by side comparison yourself. A couple of features i will list is Cubases warping capabilities, I found to have more options then ableton live a lot eaiser and a lot faster, and the Chord track feature is my favorite, it can help you buîld a song progression in seconds to mintues, from basic to complex chords, and the mixer is very versatile, allowing you to show and hide features and settings within the mixer.
All I can say is use whats best for you , many users dont need many of the features in a daw, so do your research, watch videos on the various daw sites and youtube and then decide, but for me Cubase 7 has everything I need and has become my favorite daw.
