The fastest way to the perfect groove.

DrumCore is a complete solution for creating great drum tracks and managing your own loop libraries—perfect for producers and composers who need to create drum parts quickly in a multitude of styles.

FIND IT—MANAGE IT
DrumCore is a powerful loop librarian with an extensive search engine function. You can search content based on drummer, style, feel, tempo, or your own comments.
Audition content quickly by clicking on icons that represent loops, fills, hits and MIDI files. Use your computer's built-in audio system or ReWire to route audio via your digital audio workstation (DAW) software to mix and add plug-ins and effects. Use DrumCore to manage your own audio (WAV, AIFF, SD2, ACID, REX2) and MIDI libraries!
GET AUDIO LOOPS *AND* MIDI FOR THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS
While other drum products make you choose between the speed and realism of loop-based composition or the note-level control offered by MIDI, DrumCore gives you both MIDI and audio grooves.
A software drum sampler/virtual instrument comes loaded with each drummer's drumkit, and allows control of each sound (snare, kick, etc.). Layer MIDI parts on top of loops for accents. Since the drummers' kits were sampled at the same session as the loops, the sound of the kits blend well with the tone of the loops. Use a MIDI controller with your sequencer to create your own beats with these unique kits. And of course you can edit the drumkits and create original kits using your own samples!
All performances were recorded at 10 bpm increments, since drummers play differently at different tempos. This translates into more musical grooves and keeps audio quality from being compromised by extreme processing. All audio is 48kHz/24 bit recorded in state-of-the-art studios using the best of analog (SSL, Neve, Pultec, etc.) and digital (Pro Tools HD3, etc.).
Export directly to Pro Tools, Logic or Digital Performer using special project export capabilities—or simply drag content into applications that support drag-and-drop (like ACID, Live, Sonar, Cubase/Nuendo, Pro Tools 7.x, Tracktion and others).

I own Logic Studio (Apple drum loops and Ultrabeat) as well as Stylus RMX. And while they?re great, I find for a lot of my work the organic sense of DrumCore loops sound and feel best for my projects. Real drum kits played by real humans recorded in real studios with real mics ? both close and ambient. And it?s all top notch. The grooves have a recommended tempo range, with many grooves having been recorded at multiple tempos. The range tells you what felt good to the drummer, and having grooves recorded at different tempos keeps from ruining a great feel at 90 bpm by bumping it to 100 bpm ? just select the loop recorded at 100 bpm.The MIDI loops are quite good as well, with the kit sounds faithful to the original kits. You can swap out kit sounds ? use Ben Smith?s snare with Matt Sorum?s kick. Easily edited velocity layers. Both formats come with variations and fills. To use in Logic, I just drag and drop the audio or MIDI loops and I?m up and running ? very easy. Highly recommended!
