My review is based on the fact that this thing is pretty useless in a live situation. The individual fx are ok, but don't get this for your rig.
I've used TC's big-brother and sister units (D2 delay and M1 reverb) a lot - and they are one of the most commonly-requested pieces of gear in the pro audio world. While the M300 doesn't allow as much tweaking - the 15 presets it has sound amazing, and is certainly a cost-effective substitute for it's much more expensive siblings. Easy to use, and great to have a great reverb AND delay in a single rack space!
The M300 is a nice little unit for tracking and live applications. It gives you terrific reverbs and effects for a reasonable, moderate price. Accuracy and low-noise output are the main focus of an effects unit (not "warmth")... and the M300 delivers in these respects. There's nothing in the price range that comes close to this little rack unit. Highly recommended.
This product is excelent in everything it features, i use it with my microphone shure SM58 and with a casio piano,i connect it with stereo cables and it sounds powerfull, no feedback problems the price is incredible and its a small equipment solid and light. buy one or a dozen you wont regret it. i have it hooked with a G-Minor foot pedal and its awsome too.TC#1
I found this rev unit useful on live stage too (with a compressor unit) on the bass line, keyboard or voice. Maybe it's a bit complicated to set-up but it's quite good if you are a pedals-hater bassist. And you know... It's cheap!
This is an excellent product. As a vocalist, I was looking for some device to add echo and delay to my vocals. This product is outstanding for sound quality and is very easy to use.
very good addition to my home studio. it lacked warmth on its own, but my tube pre amp took care of that. very helpful to have dual engines sent to 2 separate sends. added very nice reverb that i didn't have. great for the price. also extremely quiet.
It has great features compact in size and price. I have used it in my live sound gigs for over 2 years and it keeps on ticking without a glitch. If you want an expensive sound, buy expensive equipment. If you want a great sound at economy price, buy the M300.
TC Electronic is also known for its reverbs, (So they say). Don't hear it in this unit. Sounds hollow, not enough warmth. I find too much tweaking involved for my taste.Bad design on the "single" input and output volume control. Don't waste your money on this TC unit.
