I use it with my L1 compact on the vocal mic. Excellent gear

Great module. I used it with a wireless mic system and it worked well. Make sure the gain is turned down when using an additional mic system.

Comments about TC Helicon VoiceTone Single R1 Vocal Tuned Reverb:
This box is so much more than a vocal reverb processor. I have mine running through an effect loop on my recorder. The STUDIO, AMBIENCE and ROOM presets are very functional as instument reverb. Drums, acoustic guitar.. even as a mix spicer for bouncing tracks or final mixdown. Dont get me wrong, it especially shines as a vox reverb.
The blend knob tapers a wide range to make fine tuning easy and the side-mounted mic gain adustment matches gain settings on a preamp/recorder.
This box makes the reverb rack unit that I paid 3X the price for sound like junk. I wonder if some of the other TC Helicon VoiceTone boxes translate this well to general use applications. The T1 Adaptive Tone & Dynamics? Wonder how that would sound in my loop. Very cool.
Comments about TC Helicon VoiceTone Single R1 Vocal Tuned Reverb:
Helicon R1 vocal processor pedal. I just received this unit about 2 months ago, so my experience is limited by time. I play bass and sing mostly backup with an occasional lead vocal throughout out gigs. The issue I've always had with my voice is it's "thin" by comparison to our lead vocalist, so when I used a rack mount reverb unit to help my voice I would usually put what he thought was "too much" on his mic. This pedal has allowed me to really dial in some good depth to my own voice. It's convenient to use and now that I've had some time to play with the settings I'm very happy with how I can scale back or increase the reverb based on whether I'm singing backup or lead, and than quickly shut it off for talking. I believe for what the pedal does it's a good value for the price I paid, and Helicon has included the power supply to "up" the value. Many pedals don't come with the power supplies included, big plus. I can only speculate whether this pedal will hold up over time since I just got it. I am very picky about my gear so I expect to use it for a long time to come. I'd recommend it for the simplicity as well, plug it in to the wall, plug in your mic, and adjust while you play. Couldn't be easier, I really like "no manual needed" devices and this is definitely in that category.
