4th Generation harmony
Many of the advancements are in the "humanization" of the harmony voices. TC Helicon added new parameters and broke out former group settings into individual voice settings:

- Each harmony voice now has unique portamento and pitch-smoothing values for better separation
- Unique humanization style and amount settings per voice allow quicker edits
- Added energy (volume) level randomization per voice to better mimic group dynamics
- Any voice can be designated as a doubling voice in all harmony modes
- Controlling harmonies with MIDI is easier and more realistic sounding than ever
- Automatic note extension keyed on lead voice duration for smoother notes mode response
- "Fussy" chord mode allows you to play runs and chords while controlling harmonies in chord mode
- Scale mode MIDI override offers quick-solution tonon-scale input notes without editing
- Increased portamento accuracy
- All new, more realistic harmony vibrato styles
- Improved voice allocation in notes mode increases pan and gender stability with wide-panned voices
- Harmony hold update allows MIDI performance of sustained phonemes
- Hold/Notes mode ADSR envelope with randomization creates synth-like performance from a vocal part

Comments about TC Helicon VoiceWorksPlus Vocal Harmony, Modeling and Effects Processor:

Great additions to my studio and for live performances. Be prepared to spend time to read the manual. It is very complicated...but worth the efforts.

Better than the original

Comments about TC Helicon VoiceWorksPlus Vocal Harmony, Modeling and Effects Processor:

I bought a TC Helicon voice processor back in 1999 and have enjoyed using it. This newer version of the product has improved all of the original features. This model allows for easier editing than the original and the front panel has been simplified. It is also smaller than the original. Only one rack space required. I would recommend this unit to anyone who wants better sounding vocals.
Lot's of good presets. Easy to edit voices. Midi in works well with practice.
This product is very well constructed.
The price is right on this unit considering all of the features.

Comments about TC Helicon VoiceWorksPlus Vocal Harmony, Modeling and Effects Processor:

As well as being a musician,I also have a recording studio in my home.A local singer-songwriter wanted to make a demo-CD,so I recommended he use the T.C.Hellicon vocal harmonizer, when much to my dismay all the lights just kept blinking.I called a T.C,Hellicon Tech who instructed me to re-load the software, which I did,but that did not fix the problem.Apparently the on-board computer is damaged,so he told me that for$130 they will fix it.about a half an hour later my T.C.Hellicon dual engine reverb and effects crapped out.Just in equipment it was a $1000 dollar day plus the money for the recording.I am DONE with T.C. Hellicon.

Great Harmonies

Comments about TC Helicon VoiceWorksPlus Vocal Harmony, Modeling and Effects Processor:

I have owned this unit for over a year and use it on every job. It works best and easest with the HarmonyControl Guitar but it is not required to make it work. The Harmonies on this item are simply awesome. This works best if you have little or no back up singers. But even if you do, your backup singer can singer the 3rd above set, the Voiceworks plus to a third below you have it nailed. I won't play without it. I also recommened the foot switch for hands free operation. The manual can be a liitle tuff but over all this thing really sounds great. I have heard the other brands but this just sounded the best to me. It built well easy to hook up and really does a nice job. I would really miis this thing should something happen to it. I love it!!
