Very good heaphones, very comfortables although a little bit bothering when resting them on the neck. Very good sound quality and play really loud for clubs!
I bought my pair three years ago expecting them to last maybe two years. Using them religiously, I have pushed them past the limits for every other pair I've owned. Consistently, I used them in studio tracking situations, on extremely loud stages, and even for personal enjoyment. Although I would never advise picking up a pair for multi-track mixdown, these have been my unfailing, go-to piece of gear for everything else. The bass seriously kicks without any distortion (to the point that you can feel the drivers moving when holding them in your hand!) and can easily be perceived in any mixing environment. The plastic frame is light, durable (within reason, I?ve never tried to snap them), the feature to remove the cable for transport is ideal, and they?ve lasted some serious abuse all across the states and Central America. Again, as long as you do not want them for studio mixdown purposes, I seriously doubt that you?ll be disappointed.Happy Mixing
I had done some research on what are some really good dj headphones and I wasn't sure what to get. I then saw online that Armin Van Buuren was wearing these sick as headphones so I looked them up and the reviews were great. I bought these for djing and for studio use and they pick up sounds that I hadn't heard before out of my regular bose speakers! These are just an amazing product all around. They are comfortable, they stay on your head very easily, they can used for shoulder technique or behind the ear technique when cueing. And the sound quality is amazing!! If your in the market for getting a great quality headphone that plays loud, has amazing sound quality, a durable body, and is comfortable, make sure to get these you won't be disappointed!!!
The Technics RP-DH1200 are not perfect, but as a DJ who's run the gamut of phones from the Sony 700's to the Panasonics, I can state with confidence that these are the DJ headphones to own. I wouldn't use them in a studio setting, that's not what these are for. If you're looking for studio phones at this price range than I suggest the Sony V900-HD's. But if what you're looking for are flexible, durable, loud headphones, then look no further than these.
