This turntable is the best one yet I have the mk5s and use to have mk2 3ds and you can't get better then this.
The panasonic owned company spares no expence in this product. But the mk5 is updated somewhat in modern fashion. These guys know there specialty.
This turntable is the bomb! Good action and solid feel. Full quartz timing through all pitch ranges. Suitable for long mixes and scratching. In contrast it dose not have as much of the features that the other turntables have to offer for the high price. But,you won't care once you have owned them and played them! No wonder why they are the industry standard... P.S. best paired carts are the ortofon DJ blue for mixing or Shure m44's for scratching.
I was at a trade show years ago and a Technics 1200MK2 was being demonstrated the DJ did a handstand while it was spinning, these 1200 series, are superb !
Technics have done it again with this mantasmagorical product. Making beat match as easy as apple pie.
