These windscreens are functionable. The color coding is really nice for the sound person to identify the correct volume control. Especially if you have some color coded vinyl tape to put on the end of the mic cable where it hooks into the mixer. I just got them and we used them for one performance. They feel pretty thin, so I'm not sure how well they will hold up, but hard to beat for the price.

being from pittsburgh i have always had black and gold mic covers my gold ones were a little worse for wear so i decided to replace them unfortunately i got green instead of gold so now i have approx. 20 mic covers that i dont use

It covers the mic.
They slip all the time. Gets loose and doesn't keep it's grip on the mic.
I guess for the price it is fine. But sure wouldn't mind spending more on a better product, but I keep getting these because there is not anything else.

I have had for two years. They protect the mikes, reduce or eliminate pop, and they aid in stage setup when we put colored strips on the mike chords and patch to mixing board. No bleed over in color when received. However, they have faded after two years. Guess it's time to buy more!
