The real Italian stallion.
The Synthox was designed after widely popular Synthex Italian synthesizer, considered by some to be the best analog synthesizer ever designed. The Synthex was made famous by Jean Michel Jarre on his 'Rendez vous' EP which features a ripping Lazer Harp sound. Due to the oscillator design and lush filters this synth packs a distinctly thick and raw sound. The Synthex has become increasingly rare with time and finding working units can be a tedious and expensive task. UVI Synthox now brings you the best of this instrument in the form of a convenient and extraordinary sounding soft synth.
To create Synthox, UVI carefully restored the Synthex, created a massive array of presets and deeply multi-sample them, professionally processed and master the sounds, infused them into the powerful UVI Engine - giving you endless sound shaping options, then wraped the results in an immaculately prepared GUI.
From modern prog and pop to dance, electro, hip-hop and experimental, UVI Synthox is a flexible and expansive tool sure to inspire today's producer and musician.
Deep Sampling - Dual-Layer Architecture
UVI Synthox features a dual-layer architecture and instant preset/layer switching making it an extraordinarily responsive and capable instrument. Layers include all possible base waveforms and noises from the hardware as well as expertly programmed presets. UVI went to great lengths to ensure the authentic sound and natural texture of these machines was preserved and translated clearly. They sampled everything, including the raw waveforms with different configurations of the Chorus section.
Take this classic to the next level with the UVI Engine; Synthox comes packed with a wealth of features to enrich and further customize your sounds, including double arpeggios, a step sequencer, LFOs and precision modeled FX - allowing you to explore territory the old hardware couldn't dream of.
Taking these classic tones into new sonic territory, the UVI Engine delivers massive unison spreads, abundant polyphony, thick-modeled filters, drive, reverbs, modulation, FX and much, much more.
UVI Workstation is a completely free multi-timbral instrument that provides unlimited parts, integrated effects, live performance features, and a smooth real-time workflow. With the newest version, UVI has added powerful new features that help make your music production experience more efficient and enjoyable.
