VMC-002XLu 2-Channel USB DJ Mixer Specifications:
- 3 band isolators (18dB/oct) that adjust frequencies from +6dB to minus infinity, loaded on each PGM channel allowing DJs to cut and boost dynamically
- 5 channels - 5 phono + 5 line inputs - all provided with large rotary knobs. Each ALPS custom-made volume pot generates perfect torque and incredible durability.
- Vestax's ultra smooth type cross fader, CF-RUS is included. The unit can be replaced with the highly durable and worldly known CF-PCV.
- MASTER and CUE monitor can be switched instantly on the front panel. This allows DJs to CUE monitor with the CF monitor fader and practice through there headphones.
- Designed with an professional image and simple layout. Crossfaders can be replaced easily thanks to the double panel system. Detachable strong aluminum rack ears to fit in small places. The reason i decided to purchase this mixer, was because of looks and it's a vestax product. Over all quality and features are nice for a beginner mixer, repeat beginner mixer, Now to the point. Pros: XLR output,usb,can be used as audio interface,and sound sound is decent.Cons: This mixer is made for mixing, so if you're into scratching be prepared to upgrade crossfader to cf-pcv or innofader. Overall its a good looking mixer and for the price you can't beat it. Like i said sound is decent but could be better.

The actual mixer, its eq's, the line switches an everything else works great. The mixer feels solid and durable and looks nice too. But...the crossfader is horrible. It is definitely not meant for scratching. After about a week of heavy but not reckless use, it began to crackle and bleed. Now I have to use the line switch to scratch.OVERALL: ok for mix dj, bad for scratch dj.

Great mixer for the price, easy to replace faders (stock one lasted almost a whole year now I have a pcv), xlr outs are handy for my set up, its bascially all you need, grab yourself a mini kaoss pad and there are your effects, only downside to this mixers is theres no EQ for the mic, and for laptop djs its got a usb port, so my friends just plug into that. I'd definately buy it again. (but will probably just upgrade)
