I have owned these microphones for over six years. They are still going strong. I had to return them once for a minor repair of the power cord. I use these microphones indoors and out. I have even used them for 3 outdoor High School Graduations. They actually performed like condenser microphones. I positioned them above the choir outdoors and the voices came through loud and clear. You could even hear the students talking as they were milling around before their performance. For the money, you can't beat them. I use another set of these in an auditorium I manage and they do a great job; better than my corded Shure microphones. Ignore the comment about being kids karaoke microphones, it's just not true. Kid karaoke microphones aren't even in the same family. I have used these for everything from choirs to solos and I haven't received a single complaint. They are user friendly, sturdy enough to endure abuse from small children and rowdy teens and and to top it all off, they sound great. They will get the job done. The microphones are carefully housed in a sturdy metal case you can take anywhere. Don't fear, this is a great choice. I came to the sight to buy another set.

Not professional audio quality.
Overall, I would not recommend this to anyone. It might work for a child's karaoke setup, but nothing where you would expect equipment to perform well and actually function properly.

Overall, I would not recommend this to anyone. It might work for a child's karaoke setup, but nothing where you would expect equipment to perform well and actually function properly.
Four channels in one rack unit? Why not give it a try? I bought this product and strongly recommend against anyone else purchasing it. The features are great, except the product does not work. Channels were overlapping, there was static and hum depending on where I held the microphones, no way to adjust the channel, gain was different on the different channels even when set to the same level on the unit, power supply is an awkward wall wart. Features seem great in the advertising, but this wireless microphone system does not work properly and is in no way professional.
Plastic, not awful build quality, but not built to last. Cannot be mounted in a rack without pulling out the rubber feet that they ship the unit with (they should be shipped in the box for people who won't rack-mount, but shouldn't be standard. This is not professional quality - the wireless channels are fixed and overlap. The audio crackles and cuts in and out.
Good value - four channels in one unit, but it is not guaranteed that every channel will work. Not a professional product.

Comments about VocoPro UHF-5800 4-Microphone Wireless System:
Bought these several years ago, use them for my band playing live gigs indoors and outdoors. They hold up and they hold their own under heavy use. I also use these when I DJ at weddings etc., many of which have been outdoor functions. Again, no problems. I also KJ at a local lounge, and this is where they are subjected to the most abuse, but they have endured for years. Buying a second set of four because I sometimes get 5 or 6 people at a time singing, and of course they all want their OWN mic to sing into. I am purchasing the UHF-5900 model due to the selectable freq. range feature. When I get a chance to see how they perform I will write my review of them. I expect to have a similar positive experience with them. I only had one occasion to call Voco-Pro when my power cord started to have problems. They were extremely nice and helpful, they sent me a new one free, OVERNIGHT. Can't wait to get my new batch of Voco-pro mics. I have many microphones, Shure, Beyer-Dynamic, AKG, but these have become the workhorses of my system. I've been a musician for over 40 years, so this is NOT my first go-round. Sorry to see some others got a hold of an unfortunate "bad batch", my experience was a polar opposite of their experience. It's always possible to get/have a bad product from any mfg.

Received UHF-5800 in record time. I already had a microphone like the "damaged" one. When I tested the UHF-5800 with my mic it worked perfectly indicating that the mic amps were good. Then I tried the "damaged" mic with my system. It worked perfectly. Then tried it with the 5800---worked perfectly. Bottom line is that the unit was not damaged at all.

I think these are the best for the money.
I have had these for about 3 years and they have been very reliable and sound great with my Mackie CFX12 / Bose L1 system. I have never had any complaints from my singers and I think these mics are the best buy out there. I've never had any trouble with them.

See way above!
VocoPro UHF5800 4-Microphone Wirelss System.
Do yourself a really big favor and save your money to buy something of quality! The system had sever white noise; popping sounds that ramp up and down. When only one microphone was on another channel without a microphone would start receiving and start popping loudly. 3 of the 4 channels gave large amounts of backround noise.
Now, you may think "this guy probably does not know how to correctly adjust the gear." I am an Eletrical Engineer with a Masters Degree, specilizing in wireless and LAN WAN systems. If my Mackie 1640 could not control the issue, well there you are.
I bought the UHF-5800's and its replacement from Musician's Friend. Do yourself another big favor do buy from Musician's Friend, they are great and help to no end! They stand behind everthing they sell! They helped me replace the UHF-5800 with individual systems and I spent the bucks. Totally worth it!!!
Two out of two produced unwanted anomalies right out of the box. Don't waste your time!
See above, enough said.
