Comments about Yamaha A12 Loudspeaker Pair:

After years of hauling the 15" (76 lb) Yamahas up and down stairs I figured time to lighten up. Glad I did. These 12's sound great for solo and small groups in medium sized venues. Clear cound, no distortion. Felt type covering also works great with velcrow (I attach set list with velcrow on back or anything else I need within reach).

Great speakers for the price. Will do the job with no problem. I don't play in any huge halls anymore and these do the job. Clear and crisp sound.

Comments about Yamaha A12 Loudspeaker Pair:

These Yamaha A12's have a great sound. I bought these for small venues where I don't want to haul my larger equipment. I use a Behringer iNuke NU1000 to drive them accompanied by a pair of Fender 1270P wedges. They provide plenty of sound @ a very reasonable price.

Comments about Yamaha A12 Loudspeaker Pair:

I normally use these Yamaha A12 speakers for smaller events I DJ or in conjunction with Yamaha A15 speakers for larger events. Two of these speakers alone will provide plenty of sound for any small to medium sized venue and can hold their own for larger events if combined with a set of larger speakers. For larger events, I normally have these speakers set up in the middle and larger speakers on the outsides. But yeah, if you're looking for a cool set of 12" speakers to get the job done, buy these! You won't regret it!

Comments about Yamaha A12 Loudspeaker Pair:

I use these with my band ,and to practice drumming to. I love them I am super happy to own them!
I own four Yamaha A-15 ,happy with them ,I wanted to add some midrange,to the sound ,and in some cases (small space) didn't need the power and volume of 15" Stage speakers. These sound awesome ,and put out amazing volume! Great for the buck! They look great too .And you don't need a fork lift to move them! I use a Yamaha EMX 5014C Power Mixer and a crown amp.
These lack some fetures of the higher end Yamaha Stage speaker ,but if you match them up to the proper Amp /mixer and use good judgement ,these shoul serve you long and well.
For the price ,,with no sacrafice in sound ,these would be hard to beat!

Been shleping JBL15s to gigs. Too big and heavey for small gigs. These are light weight, sound great, NOT MUDDY. I use a Peavey powered mixer. I just use these for mains with 3 vocalists and a sax. Very bright, clean Yamaha sound. My last Yamahas (10s or 8s) lasted 20 years and I am still using them.
