These professional speakers deliver thunderous bass for large venues.

Yamaha's Club Concert series features refinements aimed at permanent installations with an elastomeric spray coating that easily fits any décor, is very tough, and readily paintable to match surroundings. The audio speaker's steel grilles are foam-lined with acoustically transparent material to provide a more subdued appearance.

Assembled by hand by skilled technicians, each speaker cabinet is designed for better low-end response and includes heavy steel handles and sturdy pole sockets to make moving and positioning easy. The CW218V subwoofer has custom drivers from Eminence that feature high-strength curvilinear cones and Kapton voice coil formers, plus oxygen-free copper voice coils and oversize strontium ferrite magnets to provide high power handling and long life. 15" and 18" drivers use cast aluminum frames to support the massive magnet structure, eliminate flex, and dissipate heat.

The titanium diaphragm compression driver is mated to a 90 degree x 40 degree custom-designed horn. Internal electronics feature an over-built crossover network and overload protection. Connections are dual Neutrik Speakon and 1/4" jacks. With professional features, excellent sonic performance, and great value, Club Concert Series loudspeakers deliver premium quality night after night.

The CW218V reigns supreme with 2 cast-frame 18" woofers and 30Hz-2kHz frequency response (-10dB). It features 1,220W program handling with 2,400W peak. Sensitivity: 98dB. 48"W x 23"H x 26"D. 132 lbs.

Out of Control

Comments about Yamaha CW218V Dual 18" Club Concert Series Subwoofer:

AMAZING power - i ran this monster using a Behringer EPS2500 bridged. Average size garage so I had signal turned half way up. Not only that you can hear the bass you can feel it! We brought the club sound into the house. Our Halloween party was a blast! Peeps didn't want to leave! The construction was very durable - 3 girls dancing on top and it kept rockin'.

Comments about Yamaha CW218V Dual 18" Club Concert Series Subwoofer:

I use this sub on all of my live setups. It's an awesome addition to any small-medium setup. I have a 2400 watt power amp, and it pushes this sub like you wouldn't believe. The sound is absolutely amazing, it will rock your pants.

Youth Praise & Worship Leader

Comments about Yamaha CW218V Dual 18" Club Concert Series Subwoofer:

I use this sub every Sunday for the youth service I lead and this thing kicks. We have a QSC 1850HD pushing this subwoofer. The amp is bridged and sounds great. We recently used this sub in an auditorium that sits 550 and it kicked hard enough to control your heartbeat. I have been told by music store salesman that JBL and Mackie and EV are much better, but I have not been able to tell a difference and this cost less so I go with this. I would definitely go with anything Yamaha when it comes to PA speakers.
