This head is awesome. I bought it a month ago and I must say this head is very well buit, very durable, and pumps out some serious sound. I used it in a gig last night and it sounded awesome! It sounds redonqulously good for the money. If your looking for alot of sound for the money this is it!
I bought one of these for the band room to use in practice. i ended up using it at smaller venues with all three bands i'm in. I eventually got a better one for the venues, but this thing is the one for the band room. used this thing with a couple Yamaha S15E's. you CAN'T go wrong!
very quite. great value. plenty powerful.I've done high school auditoriums with 200 people and it has performed fine. I've bought more expensive mixers but always come back to this one.
Used as main and backup amp. Good quality and features for the $.
I bought this mixer a year ago, and it's the best one that I have owned for this price. It's very simple to operate. I can set it up for my band in less than 20 mins. Has a great sound with my EV cabs. If your a beginner, I would buy this to start with.
Perfect for club or in room presentations.
I'm using this as a keyboard/drum machine mixer/monitor for my group. Easy to use and is light weight. It has enough power to be used on it's own(for small rooms) if you don't need to send the sub mix signal to the mains. The effects sound pretty good, and sounds pretty clean for a powered mixer. I highly recommend the rackmount ears. Don't forget to use the PAD buttons when using synths through channels 1-4Excellent price, quality and value. I am putting this thing through a pretty tough gig schedule. Will see how it performs over the next year.
I bought one of these last year.It is well worth the money.I have had so much fun with this mixer,as I am a mad scientist when it comes to music gear!I love to mix and match all the gear in my studio getting different sounds.I put this on top of a 4x12 cabinet with celestion vintage 30s.I ran my behringer v-pro guitar preamp into the emx62.With an alesis midiverb effects in/outinto the emx62.What a blast cranking my SG up with this setup in my studio.I havent blew any gear up yet but I'm still trying. The emx62 stands up to everything i've thrown at and I aint done inventing crazy guitar sounds yet!!!!!!It sure has plenty of power for the studio maniac. It works great for direct digital recording thats for sure. The phantom power for mics and all the other features this little mixer has is amazing for the small price....I also bought the yamaha pa speakers for a normal setup-HA HA.
I shopped all over looking for this piece. I finally settled on buying it here because they had the best price. The mixer is phenomenal. It is all that I hope it would be and more. Perfect for an individual or small group.
When our custom built mixer died in our sports pavilion, I scrambled to find a mixer that would be easy to use, sound good and durable. This mixer fit our needs perfectly and provided an immediate improvement in sound quality.
