Yamaha EMX512SC 8-Channel Powered Mixer
This durable, lightweight mixer has dual 500W amps, 16 Yamaha SPX effects, built-in graphic EQs, and loads of input options.
Flexible power
The power mode switch lets you use the dual power channels as a stereo amplifier or use one channel for the main speakers and one for the monitors, with separate monitor mix setup via the channel Monitor controls.
SPX digital effects
16 Yamaha SPX effects--including reverb, echo, chorus, flanger, phaser, and even distortion--let you add the finishing touches to your live presentation.
Graphic EQs
Graphic equalizers are provided for both the main and monitor power channels so you can effectively control feedback or tailor the sound to match the room and program material.
Input options
The EMX512SC offers a total of 12 input channels--4 for monaural microphone (with phantom power) or line input, plus 4 pairs that can function either as monaural mic inputs or stereo line inputs--providing a versatile mix of input capabilities for a wide range of applications. If only mic inputs are needed, you can use up to 8 mic channels. If you want to play recorded background music during breaks using a stereo input and have a keyboard player with stereo outputs, you still have 6 mic/line inputs available. If all 4 stereo pairs are used to handle stereo line sources, you still have 4 channels available for mono mic or line input. It's a versatile system that can adapt to your needs with ease!
FCL (Feedback Channel Locator) system
The Yamaha FCL (Feedback Channel Locating) system makes locating and eliminating feedback easier than ever. FCL indicators provided on each input channel indicate which channel feedback is occurring in, so you can identify it visually and adjust levels or EQ as required. Another handy features is a Standby switch that mutes channels 1 through 8 so that, for example, after rehearsal or between sets you can mute performer's inputs 1 through 8 without having to change fader settings, while stereo inputs 9 through 12 remain active for background music playback.

Yamaha S115V 2-Way 12" Club SRS V Speakers and SM12V monitors
These Yamaha Club Series V speakers and monitors are all about big house sound. Gigging bands, mobile DJs, and houses of worship helped make the first 4 generations of Yamaha Club Series Speakers incredibly popular. Bought this for a southern gospel trio. Great system! Light and easy to set up. Sounds great and we always get compliments on the mellow sound it produces. Great volume! Only drawback are the mics and mic cables. We bought Shure SM58s and better cables to replace them. What a difference they made! If your looking for a good overall system this is it.

Overall,for what this p.a. offers,you can't beat it....tons of clean power,seperate eqs for the mains and the monitors,built in fx...if it did the dishes.I'd marry it!
I own this p.a. and use it at least twice a week for the smaller gigs. It's super dependable and very high quality. We played to 700 people in Aspen Colorado last winter and this system had more than enough power to cover it.Warm,clear and if you're using Shure 57s or 58s...no feedback....this thing did not even break into a sweat. Highly recommend it.

This PA package is simply AMAZING! The Club Series speakers sound clear, full and warm. The powered head is compact and easy to use (seperate eq for main and monitor mix, very cool). It has plenty of power so I added two additional Kustom 12 monitors and it cranks - we can all hear ourselves crystal clear. We've used it to play everything from medium sized clubs to outdoor block parties. Plus, the SM 12s can be used alone as mains for small applications like public speaking or a house party. The cables are high quality and in this package are 25' - that comes in handy. One limitation to consider is the head has only 8 channels. So, to mic the drums our drummer got a small mixer and we run out of that into one channel on the head. This works great. The only weakness in this package is the included mics - they feedback something awful! You'll want to sell those or trade them in. Overall, this PA package cannot be beat. If, like me, you're in a gigging band that needs a strong, reliable and easy to use PA that will handle most every venue, this is the one to get. You won't regret it. Buy it and enjoy!
