I purchased this guitar several months ago and this quickly became my favorite guitar in my extensive collection. The neck is just amazingly easy to play. Construction of it is second to none. I do love the playabilty of my Wolfgang but just love the feel of this strat. Do not listen to the incompetent reviews of the ones who don't even own this guitar or say they can make the same for 50 dollars. There comments aren't even worth 50 cents.

I have the Red,White and Black model. Edward Van Halen has been my favorite musician since 1978. This guitar is everything I could have hoped for and more. It is expensive but it will increase in value for collectors. I purchased this guitar from a fan and collectors view point. You could build your own like Eddie did but it will not have any value to guitar collectors. Don't listen to the negative reviews about this guitar. Try one out yourself and you will notice how good it is made. Edward Van Halen designed this guitar. I will always keep this guitar.

If you want that big, fat, "I don't really need any effects" sound that a double wound set will give you this is it! I'm telling you, this guitar sounds GREAT simply plugged into a tube amp, straight (e.g. Fender Blues Delux II). Ed's a genius beyond his years for the evolution this guitar became.

Put a crown over an evh and if you don't have one Then go to a place that sells them and buy 2 you'll love them so much you want two It's calling you go out and buy it now!!

This is a very high quality guitar. The neck feels great, the tone is incredible. Harmonic come out nice and clear. I was a bit worried after reading some of these reviews, but I have to say...... This guitar is freaking AWESOME !!!! If you have the $ and your looking to get that VH sound, and just have a really really nice guitar. This is it.
