Okay okay I admit it--I got this because of Zakk Wylde. But nonetheless, the level of control you get with this is incredible. The chorus is the most useful for me and setting it to a minimal sweep speed with clean comping produces a nice modulation effect. Raising the speed produces dramatic effects on sustained notes. This really has to be played for awhile with to get the full benefit, but its contribution to overall character in a tone cannot be overstated.

If you like the recording shown on the website then you'll like it in person. Very popular, but unheralded effect. Once you play with this you'll realize how many guitarists use this or something similar.

I really like this pedal for a few reasons. One it is prabably one the best rotary effects on the market. I've tried other rotary-type effects, and a lot of them mess with your overall volume, when they are on, or they distort the sound. And some sound so fake and digital sounding. This has a very analog sound to it. And when I use modulation effects it's just my preference that they don't cut too deep into the sound, or sort of become the sound, this dosn't do that at all. It colors the tone like it should without wrecking your base tone. The toe/heel variable speed is really nice to make adjustments on the fly. Overall a very good pedal.

Dunlop JD-4S Rotovibe Expression Pedal I love this pedal. It just nails that awesome psychedelic Hendrix vibe. I play in a heavy Fuzz Rock band and this pedal was exactly what I was needing to fill out my sound. I would give it all fives but it is kind of on the expensive side. My band is a two piece so I need to fill up a lot of real-estate with my guitar. I used the Rotovibe on my clean tone and it fattens things up really nice. With out it, going from my Fuzz Tone to my clean Tone was kind of like loosing a little something. Now it just sounds thick and creamy. Give it a spin you won’t be disappointed.

This Pedal Is awsome if you want to create a good Jimi Hendrix or Pink Floyd / David Gilmour sound it goes slow and fast and also it has pulsing LED's making it easier to see on dark stages and has a chorus and vibrato selection , everything on this pedal makes it easier to use.
