Very pricey but the sound can compete with other "boutique" basses. Not as versitile as some modern basses but if you're looking for old school Jazz Bass tone, it's here in spades! Everything you'd expect from a vintage J-bass except for the scratchy pots and worn frets (the only historical inaccuracy is a missing strap button on the back of the headstock).

You can attain a beautiful sound with the art of practice and also have a piece of history in your hands. Identical to the real thing without having to solve old neck problems and electronics older jazz basses might have now.

Im a huge fan of Fender and have heard really good things about this Jazz Bass. I have a Jazz Bass of my own, but not a classic like this, so I rate this product very high, because I have heard it played and it sounds great and hopefully some day Im gonna own one because Fender is my favorite brand.
