This Fender electric bass starts with a select alder body, offering full sound and toughness to the low end. The rosewood neck and fretboard bring out ample tone, while the custom bolt-on neck presents deep, lasting sustain. The oval-C neck shape, coupled with thin skin nitrocellulose lacquer neck finish makes dancing across the bass's 20 vintage-style frets a breeze. The bass pickup that invented "funk" is still virtually unchanged today with the P Bass pickup.
