I'm still trying to figure out why these were sold so cheap. My guitar was set up perfectly from the factory. In person, the blue is a fantastic color. The noiseless pickups really are noiseless. I can get sounds from SRV to Mark Knopfler ("Money for Nothing") to Santana and anything in between.

Ice Angel

My husband and I bought two of these. His is the vintage white, which sold out. It's a strikingly beautiful guitar, and sounds awesome. This is his favorite. He has a MIM 70's Classic, a Highway 1 (2002), as well as several other non-strat Fender's. One issue with the '62's, the strings didn't line up properly. He loosened the necks on both, and adjusted them, a five minute fix. Mine is the gorgeous ice blue. The picture can't capture the shimmering, lightly metallic finish. I love the SCN pickups. They give so many tone choices, without having to use pedals, or adjust your amp settings. The workmanship on these guitars is impressive. Some people think this nitro finish is extremely delicate, but I've had this guitar for about four months (playing it daily), and there isn't a scratch on it. You do need to be careful that it doesn't come into contact with certain materials used in the production of most stands (can cause damage to the finish). My only complaint is, I've been unable (so far) to lower the action enough to suit me. I like it taken down to the maximum possible, without buzzing. I have four other Fender strats, and have had no problem with their set ups. I may have to shim the neck, or work on the nut, maybe file down the top of some of the frets. If I can solve this problem, this will be my favorite strat. I have two Japanese (2003), one MIM, and one American Deluxe (2000), in addition to this American ice angel. The pickups on all my guitars came standard. The best of those is the vintage noiseless, but I favor these SCN pups. I think the price on this is excellent. The hard shell cases that these come in are G&G's. The center latch on mine wouldn't close, but my husband bent it into place. Great looking cases, quite a bonus. Hurry before they're gone!

The Real Deal

I received mine today and have to say this is quite a deal. This one definately has the vintage feel but with more advanced electronics. I played mine through a 64 Princeton, the sound is amazing. This one is light and very vibrant. The finish is very vintage like. Came with all the case candy you would expect from a more expensive guitar. These are US made to my suprise. The set up on this one is perfect out of the box, just had to to tune it.If you need a strat I recommend this one.

This brings my Strat count to four at the present time, though I've owned many others, this one's my new favorite Strat! Flawless laquer finish, great full neck, 9.5" radius and medium jumbo frets...best of vintage and modern combined in one great axe! Mine needed a trussrod adjustment & a few other minor tweeks, but all in all a decent setup from the factory. Awesome case too.

I got this today. It is an American (made in USA) Deluxe Strat with tuners and bridge with a nitro finish. . Mine was set up perfectly and ready to play right out of the box. Zero issues. Perfect finish and quite beautiful. The case is very nice as well. I hav a USa STrat Deluxe with hot noiseless pickups and like the SCNs better. They are punchier and have more clarity. The S1 switching is a bit of overkill but I'll play around with it. Grab one of these before they're gone.
