The Ibanez ASB140 has the best features of vintage and modern electric basses, with quality Ibanez craftsmanship to top it off. A single high-output humbucker and a full 34" scale deliver seismic sustain with sweet, responsive articulation miles ahead of most semi-hollow basses. Solid construction features a maple body, 3-piece maple/mahogany Artcore neck, a rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays, 22 medium frets, and a passive EQ. The Gibraltar III Quick Change bridge/tailpiece also contributes to the great sustain of this bass guitar and, true to its name, provides easy string changes.

This bass is great. The sound is amazing, the look is unique, and playing it feels wonderful. It is a refreshing break from "J" and "P" style basses. I'm running it through just a 60 watt amp, and it still sounds superb. Even unplugged, it has great tone. I'd recommend this to anyone.

This bass is Awesome! I have a Warwick and a B.C. and when I picked this up I was impressed. It has a great tone. It can play Portrait of Tracy!!!! Its great for a buyer who doesn't want to put up the cash for a American Fender or a Warwick.

This bass was the most beautiful sounding bass I have ever played (and i have played some more expencive ones). The quality of the sound mixed with the pure beauty of its body creates the most beautiful bass in all of existance. I have rated a lot of these basses...and by far this one is the best.

This is a great bass for the price. I use it for a oldies/pop/rock cover gig with an Ashdown 300mag and a peavey 4x10 and it totally fits the bill. The bass is huge and takes some getting use to if you are not use to the big semi-hollow body and long scale. This is a versatile bass with some punch. It looks pretty cool as well, definitely stands out amongst the clones.

perfect for any music genre

This bass is perfect for any style of music. For those who want to get away from the jazz basses or precision basses, seriously look into buying this bass. I only have one wish for this bass. If Ibanez is going to release a new model of this bass, I would recommend that they put another humbucking pickup in this bass for even better attitude and sound. Other than that, a great bass at a great price.
