Just a great chorus!

I own an original and if the re-issues are as tough as the original, then this will be the only chorus pedal you'll ever own. I ended up with one from a guitarist who beat the pulp out of it. The inside circuit board was broken, but after gluing it back together, cleaning the components and repairing some solder paths, I hooked it up and it delivered the same sound as new. Mine may look abused, but it is STILL working and like I said, if the re-issue is just like the original, you won't need to look any further. Great chorusing without over-saturation. I have mine set in the loop and it works perfectly. I can't play without it, as it has that 'ingredient'. In my view, it has overcome abuse from a violent pass, but with a little repair and clean-up, it is still quite alive.

I love this re-issue from Ibanez!!! I think they make some of the best pedals you can buy (my Ibanez FL9 re-issue flanger and the common TS-9 Tubescreamer out do various boutique flangers and overdrives that I have). I am a pedal hog, I have right now 74 pedals from original vintage to new age boutique and this is my newest purchase and my favorite chorus that I own. It does lack setting features, but who cares...its easy to use and as typical for Ibanez, its built like a Sherman tank and you can bet it will last you a lifetime and never, ever crap out on you! Buy it...now!! Go....spend, buy..you wont be dissapointed!

80's chorus never sounded better...

I can picture this chorus pedal accompanying the better bands of 80's Chorus flavor. Parlticularly one of the most beautiful 80's solo's I've ever heard. Go figure, It just didn't work with my more experimental sound. I had to continue using my old chorus (not stereo.). But there are other options of Chorus pedals.. I may stick with my S.C.

I bought an EH Clone Theory but took it back the next day and picked this one up used. The CS9's chorus is much fuller and the electronics are very high quality. It has totally noise-free operation and its built like a tank. Theres not a whole lot of control or tone shaping, but the chorus is so rich that it more than makes up for it. If you're looking for a classic, 100% analog, vintage-style chorus, the CS9 is definately the way to go.

I bought this and a Boss Super Chorus, and played them side by side. I ended up keeping this one. I think it is a better pedal.
