Very nice,just as good as the more pricey ones. The tri-tonal head of the pedal is great and can produce any sound from country to metal! The only thing that is annoying is after beat...the head still shakes alot after you strike it...but I'm pretty sure I'll find the adjustment for that.When you get it, you have to totally adjust it to your style...it comes pretty much disassembled!

I just recieved my Mapex pedal yesterday and let me say that for the money, you can't beat the quality and durability of this pedal! I had been looking at the Pulse pro single pedal for a knock around (studio) pedal, when I came across this little gem. The only thing I kinda don't like about the design is the placement of the hoop clamp wingnut. However, this one is pretty easy to clamp on and seems to stay in place once I'm wailin. Great Pedal!
