I've played guitar for a couple of years on an epiphone that I restringed left-handed, but I always wanted to play bass, but, being that most left-handed instruments are expensive, this didn't seem possible. Thanks to this bass, I can finally play the instrument I started playing music for, and with this price, I won't go poor! It came to me a couple days after Christmas, but it proved totally worth the wait! I may switch out the pickups later, but I'm pretty satisfied with the tone as it is. All in all, this is a great bass for an extremely low price for both left-handers, and right-handers alike!

This is a good bass for begginers to use, and all it takes is a quick bridge adjustament to fix a bad rattling problem. Oh, and the neck is pretty wide, so it's good for people who have big hands or long fingers. this is a great bass for lefty's who are starting out.

I realy enjoy my Rouge bass it's light functional and easy playing after a minor bridge adjustment to stop a frett rattle (tools included) it plays very well the neck is fast for a bass I say ROCK ON ROUGE !

I just received my bass today and I am impressed with the sound quality and style. I am new to bass playing so this is my first true left-hand bass. My only complaint is I wish there were markings on the volume and tone controls. Some reviews stated the fretboard is to wide I find it fine. Overall for the money this is a good first bass for the beginner, lightweight and streamline.

I can't believe that a bass of this quality is so inexspensive! Some folks say the fretboard is too wide, but I have huge hands and I took to it like a duck to water. The pickups may be a bit substandard, but I've certainly heard worse. Plus, Musician's Friend got it to me within 2 days, standard shipping!!!! Wow!! Hail M.F.!!
