My wife's original case for her Martin HD28 was shot, and the case that came with the DM12 was showing rapid wear from constant use. We took her guitar and tried out this case. Perfect fit! After a couple of years, the lid-check straps did come loose, allowing the lid to open all the way flat. The same thing happened on our 20-year-old fender case, and I fixed it with gorilla glue. I haven't tried it on the SKB yet. I would recommend this case to anyone with a Martin dreadnaught. It fits, and is a bargain. Whichever guitar leaves the house, does so in this case.

i got this case a little less than a year ago. my acoustic fit fine in it and there were no original problems. now, after a little less than a year, the straps that hold the case at a 90 degree angle when open (like in the picture) have broken. it still closes and opens fine but when i open it the top now just falls all the way back. more annoying than anything. i've never bumped it hard or done anything that should cause this to happen ... i figure they must have used some sort of cheap glue to glue the straps to the case. i'd look elsewhere ...

I bought this case a few weeks ago and it is truely awesome. I put my Martin dreadnaught in there and it fit perfect and snug. I could probably throw this thing off a building and my guitar would still be fine. My friend told me about SKB cases and i would recommend them to anybody for any guitar. I also think they smell really good.

Well worth the money! It fit my Alvarez a bit snug at first, but has since moulded itself to my guitar quite nicely. It's sturdy enough that I could probably drop it down a flight of stairs and it'd still be in tune. Very secure! I'm very happy with the one I have and would gladly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality case at a reasonable price.

I bought a Fender Nat and this case in a Guitar center store. It fits my Fender Nat well. I like it, because it is a mid-priced for it being high quality. I bought this case thinking that it was low quality. I was wrong, the interior is well padded and soft so it wont scratch your Acoustic unlike other cheap hardshell cases and gig bags. If you want high quality and if you want it to last for awhile, go for either this one or other mid to higher priced hardshell cases. If you dont want to spend a lot of money on a case for a Nat, buy this one. I got a brand new Fender Nat and this case for under $400.00 bucks.
