Have used this tuner for both a live band setting as well as in a studio setting. It is extremely fast at recognizing the note, although is a bit slow with bass guitars. The two channels is a cool feature and having inputs/outputs on both the front and back is VERY helpful! - especially when you want to quickly patch from the tuner to another rack unit or amp without having to reach behind. You can also run an A/B footswitch through the tuner in case you are running two different amps or whatever else you could use that for. All around, it's a very good buy and is certainly comparable to the Korg DTR-2000 Oh, and the lights are pretty sick too!

Great tuner for the price and features. Smart switch feature is much better than the standard switching on the 7000. Input 2 signals and switch either to one output, drawback is if you use 2 outputs with 2 inputs, it switches like the 7000. I use the A/B input to switch between my wireless and a GI-20 sending the output to my main preamp (Boss GT-Pro). With the rack setup I use, this is the best way to accomplish what I needed with out having to spend $$$ on a seperate switch system. Tuner works better than any I've used. For those that don't like the bright "note" display at close distance, cut a small piece of window tint and attach over the LEDs, it will clear things up tremendously.
