This is a pretty nice guitar. It's a little heavy, and awkward to hold when you first get it. The body shape makes it hard to play sitting down, but if you position yourself right, it actually is quite comfortable. I've been using this guitar as my main instrument, and it hasn't come out of tune in the four months of play. And I shred a lot, so that says something right there. And I will agree that the tuning and volume knobs are loose. The pick-ups are a lot better than my first guitar, but they could be better.

First off, im a kiss fan so this is a must have guitar. I was amazed as i took this beauty out of the box. It has an awsome metalic flake finish and the picture does not do it justice. I put on a new strap button near the neck and it is much more balanced. the pickups sound awsome and this guitar gets alot of attention. buy this while they last

I own this guitar and I really cant write a review on how it plays because I can play it. Essentially I can strap it up because its so unballanced. The neck is like 10 pounds heavy like this. You really cant hold it. You cant run your hand up and down the neck because the wacky body position. Also it is really uncomfortable playing sitting down. So in my opinion all the hot pickups and hot looks are a moot point, if the guitar cant be played standing up. My opinion , buy an SG or Sg copy, their cheep, good looking and are ballanced.

Lets start with the guitar! I bought it a couple of years ago. No case, got a couple of nicks, not noticeable. It’s not AAAA maple or anything like that. You wont find that in any guitar $200 and if Your looking for that, think more $2000!

Anyway, hardware I had all switched off. Tuners were nice, but I wanted the whole Gibson style tuners! Playability is incredible. The volume knob did break and I had to have it fixed! I also had work done on the bridge. The pickup covers were off ever so slightly, but the pickups in the axe made up for it! Its very top heavy! The neck is very heavy weighed down by the finish! But it makes easy for sweet bends since there is no tremolo! I got black knobs for the volume and tone, and It looked real nice! It’s a great rhythm guitar! And The output is real nice. Not much more to add, but the fact that its uncomfortable to rest on your leg for a long time!

This thing Screams! I was truly amazed to get this kind of sound out of a guitar in this price range. I own this one and the Paul Stanley Sovereign pro!! They are both amazing! I guess this is proof that Asian manufacturing has come a long way since the eighties. The heeless neck joint makes access to the higher frets a breeze. I've seen other reviews complaining about finish quality problems & balance. I went over it very thoroughly when I recieved it for Christmas and cannot find any flaws! As far as the balance issue, I tend to play guitar with BOTH HANDS so a little inbalance is not an issue. This guitar is a Great value
