I love it. This is my second drum set. I have been playing all my life. I love the sound quality. The bass drum has an amazing sound. I have no complaints about it. I play it in my band. We own at shows. The drum puts through so much sound but it is a good sound.

this is a good solid set. drums have a great tone, and are all very powerful. the stands that come with are kinda flimsy, but they still get the job done.

This is the best sounding set I have ever owned. I have had pearl, tama, rogers, pearl(again), slingerland, and a ludwig. The solid maple is the way to go. I get compliments on the sound and the look. By far worth more than the money. I am buying another set soon to leave in the studio and keeping the one I have current for gigs.

I am an active musician here in the US Virgin Islands. I play an average of 2 to 3 gigs a week in two different bands. I play country, rock, blues, and top 40. This kit handles them all. I use Evans Hyd heads on the toms and they sound like thunder. The day I bought the kit, I tore it down and put several coats of a professional grade car wax on the shells and hardware. After 6 months of heavy use, not even one sign of wear. To round out the kit, I ordered a 10" tom. I get comments all of the time on how not only does it look good, but how good it sounds. For anyone that sets up and tears down as much as I do, I would recommed it for several reason, but most of all it would be because of the the hardware quality. Once you set something, it stays unless you want it to move. Order it, you will not regret it.

I bought one of these kits as a "road abuse" kit after having played it at a few gigs. This is 100% maple for an amazing price! Nothing more to say.. you get the warmth and true tone of maple for an excellent price!!
