It's Good, but not great.

I was pleasantly surprised to find out that it's factory pickups buzzed and crackled less than my friend's mexican strat's. it didn't need adjusting when i took it out of the box, and was ready to go as soon as i plugged it in. The tuners work pretty well, but i had to immobilize the funk bar when i switched to standard 10's (factory strings are 9s), because every time I used it it knocked the bridge out of whack (and therefore out of tune). but otherwise i am completely satisfied. next time though i think i'll go for the american strat.

This guitar is amazing. I bought one for my son and it was so cool I had to get one for myself. It's got a great tone, stays in tune, And looks totaly awesome. It is great for beginers. It's also not too expensive. I would recommend this guitar for anyone, Beginer or experienced. BUY THIS GUITAR!

I bought this guitar a mounth ago. I have 10 different strats,(not squiers), this is my only squier. I can't belive how this guitar plays,it plays and sounds just as good if not better as my fenders. IT'S SMOOTH. i find myself playing this guitar more than my strats. You can't find a better deal, or a better quality guitar than this.....TEXAS ROCKER

This is a total home run for Fender. Great looking and performance that is unheard of from other manufacturers at this price. Tone is better than any "Mex" strat that I have played and comes close to alot of new USA made strats. Fit and finish is very good as well. The neck and pocket look to be a very tight fit and the frets are also very well finished. The bridge is an upgrade from what you will see on other squire strats as well as Mexican strats. (look at USA Made) This I believe is the best guitar that can be bought for the money, and from what I have been told from the rep this setup and finish are more rare than the other Squires by far. I love this guitar!!! Thank you Fender!!!

I'm actually writing a review of the guy who wrote the review and said the neck fell off out of the box, then the body fell off and broke his foot. I would rate the review as best fiction writer of the year with the best original story and consider him right up there with Stephen King.
