I have had this guitar for almost two and a half years. It is my first guitar and I have put a lot of time into playing it. It is overall pretty good. The pickups are good compared to some other guitars I've played. There is only one problem with it and that is that some of the frets make a buzzing sound. I have heard that this is can fixable. Too bad it has been discontinued kinda sad. Anyway's it is awesome for a beginer.

Great guitar for the price, sounds real good esp. with EMG pickups if you are playing metal, the quality however is a little iffy. I mean for the price I guess not but the second week I had it I was playing a show and a wire disconnected from the input jack and I had to sauder it beck, no big deal, then the plastic part of the tone job broke off, no big deal either, easily fixable things. Great guitar, good for customizations too.

I've had this guitar for around 4 years. Through all the other guitars i've went through (I've gone through a Jackson soloist, Ibanez rg350dx, Ibanez rg550, Jackson soloist custom shop), this piece of crap has remained faithful. I call it the piece of crap because I would always throw it around and mistreat it. I've been completely and utterly abusing it for 4 years, and until a couple weeks ago, whenever one of my guitars would crap out, I'd use this one. R.I.P. crap guitar. It was in a car accident with me, and it got crushed.

Great guitar for beginers who want to learn rock and metal. If you more expierenced I would save up an extra hundred dollars and get the one with the fixed neck

I saw the big brother non-Special model ($400 M.F.) of this beauty in a large guitar store among many guitars and it drew my attention immediately. I haven't played guitar in 35 years. Yeah, I'm an old geezer but I rock, so what! Had an original Gibson SG with a Fender Twin Reverb back in those days. Getting the bug again I needed something that sounded good, was affordable, and was quality built. This was my first order with Musician's Friend and I was not disappointed with them or the equipment. Among other things I bought was the Behringer Vintager GM110 Combo Amp. This is a super great combo for very few bucks. It sure beats me how they can sell a quality guitar and amp like this for $270 total. Sounds sweet, stays in tune, original setup perfect, looks great, etc.. Buy this guitar now!
