Voodoo Lab's Tremolo pedal delivers authentic vintage tube amp tremolo sounds from gentle and warm, to machine gun-style insanity all in a single pedal. By using the same lamp and photocell assembly found in many classic tube amps, Voodoo Lab's Tremolo gives you real analog tone right from a compact 9V stomp box!

By using the inventive Slope control, you can change the shape of the tremolo waveform from traditional to full on stuttering madness and all points in-between. Very Impressed!

I wanted a tremolo for vintage Duane Eddy sounds and this hits the mark better than any other pedal I've tried. I also use it for Bo Diddley tunes and to add a spooky feeling to arpeggio's. The build quality is excellent. If I have any complaints is that the pedal has a large footprint on the board. Great job Voodoo Labs! I highly recommend this pedal.

Solid Pedal - Bad Bleedover

I have been seeking a tremolo pedal for a long time that provides an excellent tremolo sound with NO BLEED THROUGH from the original signal path. If you are searching for the same thing, this pedal is not for you. I have yet to find a pedal that can perform this task.

However, this is an excellent product, the controls are very user friendly, the effect works well with the exception of the bleedthrough of sound/signal while the pedal is on.

The BEST part about this pedal is the name. Voodoo lab customer service is top knotch. My pedal had an internal issue that crippled its use within the first 4 months. I sent it back to them for repais and received it back within a week fully ready to go. EXCELLENT customer care.

I went into a music store one day (long before I discovered this site) looking for a tremolo pedal, not knowing much about tremolo, and tried about 8 or 9 differen't pedals. EVERY ONE fell short. Actually, every one fell short of the built in tremolo provided by my vox ac30, except this pedal. It sounds the way tremolo should sound, all the others just sound cheap.

Best tremolo I have played, no tone sucking!!!

This is the most versatile, transparent tremolo pedal I have played. It is true bypass so there is no tone loss whatsoever with the effect off, and the effect is also completely transparent (besides the added tremolo effect) when engaged.

I had previously been using an Electro Harmonix "The Wiggler" and this thing sounds way better and is far more versatile as far as tremolo is concerned. The speed knob has a much more practical range, and the slope knob allows more subtle tremolo effects to be dialed in, while still being able to get intense like the Wiggler.

The slope knob allows you to dial in a wide variety of tremolo effects- from a subtle pulsating tremolo with the knob all the way down, to a choppy effect when turned all the way up that completely cuts the sound in and out rapidly. The volume knob allows you to dial the level of the effect so there's no drop in volume when you turn it on, you can even boost your signal significantly with this knob turned up high.

The best feature of this pedal however, is that your tone still retains it's full original quality with the effect engaged, there are no frequencies trimmed whatsoever. My Fuzz Factory sounds just the same behind this whether the tremolo is on or off, turning it on just adds the tremolo effect to the existing sound, there is no frequency trimming of the fuzz tone at all.

If you are looking for a versatile warm tremolo with transparent tone and true bypass, look no further. It is also built like a tank and has a 5 year warranty, so how can you go wrong? This pedal is amazing, get it!

Tone Sucker!

I researched tremolo pedals to add to my pedal board and to play through my mesa boogie roadking II, this pedal has a good tremolo sound, voodoo labs states that this has a true bypass. When I turn the slope control up i can here it bleed through when the effect is not engaged. With my isp decimator turned on it eliminates this, but like others stated it is a tone sucker. But the effect is good.
