The Karl Willhelm Model 57A violin resembles the Model 57, but the instrument's finish simulates the normal wear and markings an instrument would receive over many years. The 57A model also features boxwood trim (pegs & chinrest) and the pegs are Hill-style (decorative), which is found on higher priced instruments.
This beautiful, hand-crafted instrument features a warm, resonant tone and is meticulously finished. Like all finely made instruments with a solid top, its sound can be expected to improve over time, resulting in an instrument that will give years of satisfaction.
