Buying Guide:Not a Cover Brand
Introducing the new MG series: Not models, not digital forgeries—just 100% pure, unadulterated Marshall!
As digital modeling amps have become more pervasive in the gear world, you may have noticed that many claim to re-create “classic British tone.” It’s no secret that phrase is industry code for one word—Marshall. As they say, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, so to our Marshall-modeling competitors, we say “Thank you!”
That said, although many modeling amps do provide a wide range of tones, it’s not realistic to think a $100 practice amp can match up to the 100W, all-tube stacks; legendary vintage amps; or boutique, handwired combos your heroes used on classic cuts. Rather than focus on re-creating the sounds of other amps, we at Marshall choose to continue doing what we do best—designing and building amps that let your individuality shine through.
Marshall prides itself on a history of innovation, not emulation. We are an original, and so are you! Rather than being a jack of all trades, we’d rather be the master of one—tone! That's why Marshall has set the standard for decades, offering amps that capture our unmistakable legacy and allowing you to sound like yourself.
