Guitar Of The Week:Paul Reed Smith - Private Stock Santana!
Santana Stoptail 22 Fret
A one-of-a-kind masterpiece by the world-renowned Private Stock Department at Paul Reed Smith Guitars, this instrument is worthy of being the centerpiece of any fine guitar collection. Generously loaded with outstanding aesthetic appointments, beautiful woods, and player-friendly features, this guitar looks as good as it sounds. Features include a quilted maple top in a sultry and vibrant Solana Burst finish, a thick mahogany back, and a rosewood neck. The 22-fret rosewood fingerboard is dressed with PRS "old style" mother-of-pearl bird inlays with 14k gold outlines and has a Santana fat/thin neck profile and a short 24.5" scale for supreme playing comfort. The PRS 14:1 Phase II low-mass locking tuners with rosewood buttons are smooth, accurate, and extremely stable and the two-piece, adjustable bridge and stop tail brings out more of a mid-range woodiness in the tone to really make this guitar unique and special.
The Private Stock Santana stoptail has additional tasty cosmetic touches such as a Private Stock mother-of-pearl eagle inlay with 14k gold outline on the headstock; curly maple binding on the body, fingerboard, and headstock; gold/nickel hardware; Brazilian rosewood headstock overlay, truss rod cover, and backplates; and a glossy nitrocellulose lacquer finish. Don't miss your opportunity to own this heirloom quality instrument.
