Comments about Gibraltar Standard Snare Butt End:

The bridge has the mounting screw threads built into it, so, The shell mounting screws actually have to come from the inside of the drum shell, excess length is exposed on the outside of the drum. Maybe there is a better way. It works, but it's ugly.

Comments about Gibraltar Standard Snare Butt End:

This unit is sound and well built but has one drawback. The mounting screws should be backed up by a nut of some kind. All Gibraltar did was to tap through the body of the butt end and I ended up stripping one screw out. I added nuts to the outside of each screw and that seemed to fix it. It is a shame that more than ever these days, we need to "Fix" our new equipment before we can use it. I did like the snare strap attachment bar because of the drum key screw heads.
