Interesting change in sound

Tried playing with just fingers, then have done some playing and practicing with these, the difference in sound is interesting.

Was recommended this and initially excited to hear about picks designed for bass, but was very dissapointed in what these things actually are. This product seems to be made from very cheap material, and is too thick and bendy for any kind of fast playing. Would recommend a regular guitar pick in a thick gauge (think .80mm+) if you want something durable and playable. Doesn't seem worth the money to me.

Comments about Mick's Picks Bass Guitar Pick Variety Pack 6-Pack:

New to bass after a hiatus from music (was a fair guitar player 20+ years ago), I was disappointed to learn that my local shop hadn't seen this style of bass pick for "10 years". Was happy to find them so easily on line and that they were devlivered so quickly.

Comments about Mick's Picks Bass Guitar Pick Variety Pack 6-Pack:

I had hoped the rubber picks might be a shade thicker, to produce a softer, more mellow note. However, those that I received are thicker and softer than any I have found in local music retailers, and the are far superior to the composite picks I previously used on occasion.

Comments about Mick's Picks Bass Guitar Pick Variety Pack 6-Pack:

When you want to use a pick on your bass, these are a good choice. The soft pick works as it should. The hard one has a nice feel and good grip. The package suggests usage on a ukulele; and they work well there, too.

Unlike other rubber picks, these picks do not flake off. The felt picks hold up very well, and give a sound similar to the fingers.
