Used it often for almost a year before it started acting up. Now over a year later it does not recognize discs have the time and sometimes it just doesen't turn on.

Bought this as a back-up for my DJ/Karaoke show and it stays mainly on the trailer. But when we have had to use it, it was a get by at best. It is great for home use but not much for professional use. Remote is slightly unresponsive and the instuctions that came with the unit are useless. But it will get you by in a tight, but why did Fleco have to have a "Bell" sound go off everytime you open the disc tray? My crowd thought I was using a sound effect. But I do own two of them and for the price, well not to shabby.

A good but basic player Overall quality: 6

Bought two of these to replace two very worn JVCs'. They are good for home use but a tired JVC does better than these as professional models. A great item for light work. For a working unit, go with a heavier duty unit.

For someone who has an existing PA system, this is a great player. It's easy to set up, and I like the fact that I can watch DVD's with it as well. The only problem I've had is that when you change out discs, the "time remaining" on-screen-display comes on automatically. It's really annoying, because it partially covers up some of the words. I've been all through the setup menus and the manual and I can't seem to change it. Other than that, it's worked great.
