It is smaller and more portable than an upright. Never needs tuning. My children love it. Volume is perfect for parents! If you are looking to use the smartcard feature, they are difficult to find. Casio has discontinued this model. Get 'em while their hot and inexpensive.
Being a musician myself, I bought this to spark some musical interest in my daughter's eyes. I'm picky about quality and this purchase just amazed me. The overall sound and quality of this item is unbelievable. Playing it leads you to believe you are either playing nothing less than a real piano or one of the very expensive digital nature. For the money, for the quality, for the love of all that is holy......buy this thing now before they realize that they could be getting a thousand dollars more for this piano. Thumbs and toes up!!
Although the volume is not real loud, its a really nice paino. I love to nice sample sound it has and the weighted keys are really good. It feels like a real paino. The volume is not a big deal because I'm using it through a PA system. It has a nice mix up of sounds. Also the computer software is easy to use. The mic and stand are also really nice with a good sound.
I've owned this keyboard for almost a year and it's great the all the sounds are so realistic you can't find anything much better. Also the price is great especially now with the free mic thrown in. When I bought it was a hundred dollars more and did not come with the mic. This keyboard is defintely professional quality. However don't expect to much from the mic feature I've tried using my mic with it and it leaves alot to be desired you'll defintely want to amplify the mic with something else if you plan to use it at gigs. Also i felt certain sounds were lacking in the organ department really but other than those 2 complaints this keyboard is awesome.
