Product# 712572

The YJM Fury Stack hum-canceling single-coil-sized pickup is based on Seymour Duncan's original Stack pickup design. The neck pickup balances Yngwie's fluid left hand technique with his broad mix of right hand pick attack for a tone that's sweet and fluid, but with great articulation and responsiveness to dynamics. It's recommended for rock, neo-classical, shred, hard rock, power metal, and heavy metal.

The YJM Fury will directly retrofit most single-coil equipped guitars. Though originally designed for a Fender Strat with a scalloped maple fingerboard, the YJM Fury will work well with any bolt-on guitar that utilizes traditional single-coil-size Strat pickups. The YJM Fury is the same pickup that Fender installs in their YJM Strat guitars.

Comments about Seymour Duncan STK-S10 YJM Fury Stack Neck Pickup:

I purchased this pickup at my local music store, thats said,I'll keep this less boring and straight to the point. My main "go to" axe is a Charvel Pro-mod Jake E. Lee Modified. HSS, FLOYD standard rock out axe, with a TBX pot on neck only, reason for this is I wanted a high output pickup on my neck position with the look of a single coil had the Charvel HH( too limited )
I'm a huge duncan fan it was between the "little 59" and the "Fury neck" I went with the fury neck because its high out put which means more more sustain (John Sykes) clean (SRV-HENDRIX) with the TBX I can tame this baby down to strat quak ,I love this pickup 28k OHMS SCARY !!!!!!!!!!!!!
but make sense to me, I bought it and I'm sold on it, love it.

Comments about Seymour Duncan STK-S10 YJM Fury Stack Neck Pickup:

This is not as good as the original. The sound lacks the original sound Malmsteen forged thru the previous company he started with first. It is more like a vintage humless pick up and the sound thru a Marshall does not balance as it did in the golden years. It is better for clean blues but lacks the intended sound for neo classical guitar as invented by his Royalness. Sorry Yngwie,if mass marketing and business is more impotant than the original historical sound, i don't want it. Better to play clean humless blues thru this going thru a vintage reverb tube amp. The original rules and the original is the origin. Yngwie is a better virtuoso then a sell out business man. Why give out? I'll keep the originals in my strats. Besides the HS 3 is still my bread winner. It was YJM who got me started so I'll just continue.
